Minim Piano classes are highly focused sessions that include the essential components of music learning. During each session, we aim to cover the following components:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRevision of songs that we previously learnt\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eIntroduce a music technique\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eTechniques such as reading notation, understanding parts of a piano, scales, arpeggios, and note drills for the more advanced students are essential knowledge to help students understand how music is written. Music may seem complicated, but it is essentially a formula and concoction of music techniques. Learning music techniques through the weeks will help students understand this.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSong of the day\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWe will work on the song that is chosen together with the teacher and student. This can be a classical piece, a contemporary piece, or something that the student is working on.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMusic Writing\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWhere time allows, we will incorporate music writing into the session, which adds to students' understanding of music. This year, the recital is held on 10th October 2026, from 1000-1100.
