Christmas Caroling Highlights 2025

Hello Minim Family,

I hope you have been well!
The Merry Minim Christmas Caroling event was successfully held last Sunday, and it was a morning filled with good vibes, laughter, warmth and music.

We had over 100 people gathered at the park, with more than 50 children from 14 different schools performing together on that special morning. It was heartening to see how music can unite us all.

Here are some of our highlights!

We started the morning setting up and decorating the Christmas tree! We had a plan for decoration and wanted to place the colourful streamers all around the stage area, but the children had better ideas... They wanted to put it ALL on the Christmas tree! So, we had a very sparkly tree to celebrate this festive morning with us ;)

It was nice to see the children enjoy the ornament decoration booth that we set up. They were choosing the colours to use, and stickers to go with their designs.

Thank you dear families for contributing to the amazing food and drinks at the event. we had cookies, cakes, fruits, coffee, tea, juice... We got to know that there were amazing bakers among us too! We were worried that there may be left overs, but we were absolutely wrong... The children gobbled everything up within the hour!

For families with cars, you would have received our GVVC (Good Vibes Vibes Club) car decals. We invite you to put them on your car, and wear it loud and proud, all in the name of Good Vibes!

Having lots of fun chatting and playing before the rehearsal begins. We were also touched to see some of our Minim graduates who came to participate in this event... Thank you so much and it was nice to connect with you again!

The best part of making music is having lots of fun along the way :)

Rehearsal time! Everyone had to pay close attention to teacher Christine who is leading the rehearsal. The children have gathered from 14 different schools and it was our first time playing the songs together, so the rehearsal was absolutely essential.

Performance time! We gave it our all. The sun was shining on the children's faces. We hope that they all had fun take these magical memories through their life.

To make the event even more festive, we held a Cool Class Raffle. At Minim, we wanted to celebrate education and have everyone get a chance at winning a gift of cool classes: Drawing, Dance, Songwriting and DIY Leather crafts.

Thank you to families who participated in the raffle, and congratulations to our 4 winners!

We ended the beautiful day singing We Wish you a Merry Christmas together. No videos, no phones, just this moment for us. Thank you for making memories together <3

A successful performance @ ASiJ Winter Fest with Ayumo project!

On 6th December, we successfully held a showcase at ASiJ's Winter Fest! Over the past few months, it was our pleasure to be working with the Ayumo Project, which brings Ukranian Refugees together. We sang 3 songs, including a Ukranian version of We Wish You a Merry Christmas! Many of the participants do not speak English, and it was nice to see everyone bond together through the universal language of Music.

Thank you to Ayumo project for having us on this meaningful journey, and getting everyone on the ukulele!

Minim Math Club: A Math Afterschool Program

Minim Math Club commences in January with 2 classes: Tuesdays and Thursdays at Willowbrook International School.

Minim Math Club is based on the Singapore Math curriculum, and children can look forward to building strong foundations in math while engaging in fun word problem challenges that encourages critical thinking, problem solving skills and logical reasoning.

Some say that Music is the Mathematics for the soul, and Mathematics is the Music for the mind.

If your child needs help with math, or you want them to have extra attention on the subject, we are here for you with the Minim Math Academy! We have a strong team of Singaporean educators who give it their all for children to understand math concepts with strong foundations, and we are heartened to hear that all current children on the program have benefitted from this.

We look forward to helping as many children as possible to learn math, and also love math!
