The Minim Method

Responsive Education

Responsive Education starts with the learner, not the lesson. Information is no longer scarce, but abundant and easily accessible.

The role of the educator has shifted from the sole source of information to the curator of multiple sources of information in response to the needs and desires of the learner.

This is especially important for children in early developmental stages, who quickly lose interest when presented with information that is no longer relevant to their desires.

Founder Story

Nurturing the language of music

As the founder of Minim and a mother herself, Xuemin is a passionate music specialist dedicated to nurturing the language of music in every child and building an exciting international music community for children in Tokyo to flourish and learn from each other.

Before establishing Minim, she was a preschool teacher for 5 years. She taught hundreds of children in group lessons, and private piano, ukulele and voice lessons.
