By enrolling in Minim Academy, participants and their parents or guardians agree to the following terms.
1. Payment
All class fees must be paid in advance by credit card or bank transfer through our contactless payment system. Places are confirmed only once payment has been received.
2. Trial Class
Each student is entitled to one trial class only. If a student wishes to change teachers or try another class after the trial, the regular lesson fee will apply.
3. Change of Teacher
Students may request a change of teacher at any time. Requests will be reviewed after a discussion with the Head of the Academy and are subject to teacher availability.
4. Class Materials
Lesson printouts provided by teachers are included in the lesson fee. Textbooks and examination fees are not included. Parents will be informed of any required materials and may purchase them independently or through Minim.
5. Class Schedule
The class schedule for the following month must be confirmed by the 20th of the current month. If a student plans to take a break from lessons, the teacher must be informed by this date.
6. Rescheduling
Rescheduling is permitted with at least 24 hours notice from either the student or the teacher. Any rescheduled class must be completed within two weeks of the original date.
7. Late Cancellations and No Shows
Once the schedule has been confirmed, cancellations made with less than 12 hours notice will be charged in full if the teacher is unable to reschedule on short notice. No shows without prior notice will also be charged in full.
8. Venue Rental
Where a lesson takes place at a rented venue, the venue fee is non refundable if the lesson is cancelled within seven days of the scheduled date.
9. Cancellation by Minim
In the rare event that Minim cancels a lesson, affected families will be offered either a rescheduled lesson or a credit toward a future session.
10. Safety and Liability
Minim Academy instructors take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety of all students during lessons. Parents and guardians agree that Minim Academy and its instructors are not liable for any injury, illness, or loss sustained during lessons, except where caused by gross negligence on the part of Minim.
Parents and guardians are responsible for informing Minim of any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs relevant to their child's participation.
11. Personal Belongings
Minim is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings, including instruments, textbooks, or devices, brought to lessons.
12. Behavior
Minim Academy lessons are built on mutual respect between student and teacher. Minim reserves the right to discontinue lessons for any student whose behavior repeatedly disrupts the learning environment.
13. Image and Media Use
Minim Academy may use photos, videos, and other media taken during lessons in publicity materials such as our website, social media, and print materials. No student will be named in such materials. If you prefer your child not to be featured, please notify us in writing at contact@minim.family at the time of enrollment or at any point during the term.
14. Changes to These Terms
Minim may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website at minim.family.
