Our Minim Family keeps growing, and with the new school year underway, we thought it would be a good time to share exactly what your child can look forward to in each of our group classes. Beyond the fun of picking up an instrument or solving a tricky problem, every Minim programme is built with intention. Here is what that looks like, class by class.
Minim Ukulele
Children build music literacy from the ground up, learning to read music, keep rhythm, and play as part of a group. Just as important, we focus on confidence and performance, giving children real opportunities to play in front of others and take pride in what they have learned.
Minim Math Club and World of Numbers
Both programmes build problem-solving skills and strong math foundations, with an emphasis on real-world application rather than rote memorization.
In Minim Math Club, children learn in a smaller classroom setting, with individual assessment at the end of each term so families can see how their child is progressing.
World of Numbers takes a play-based approach, introducing early numeracy concepts through hands-on activities suited to our youngest learners.
Minim Piano Academy
Children develop technique and musicality side by side, building the foundational skills to play well, and the ear and expression to play beautifully.
Minim Rhythm and Dance
Most importantly...
Across all our classes, group learning encourages children to collaborate, help one another, build interests together, and create shared memories along the way. Minim teachers place extra care to ensure that children receive a safe learning environment in which to voice their interests, as we develop the curriculum for them each week.
As the saying often goes, when we grow up, it is less about remembering what we learn, and more about remembering how we felt during the journey. We look forward to working together as a community to create meaningful learning experiences for the next generation.
