Hello Minim Family,
We hope you have been well!
We are excited to bring you our annual summer camp for the community.
Minim Artisan Summer Camp brings together the joy of making music with the beauty of Japanese craft traditions. Over five days, children learn ukulele in group ensembles, receive private one-on-one piano lessons, and explore a different hands-on artisan craft each afternoon. The camp leads to a showcase performance and exhibition for families on the final day.
This is specially designed for international families who will be in Tokyo this summer, seeking an authentic, creative, and culturally rich summer experience for their children.
Sign up for an enriching summer!

What your child will experience
Each day is a blend of music, creativity, and play. No two days feel the same!
🎸Ukulele ensemble
Daily group sessions learning chords, strumming, and songs. This builds toward a live performance for families.
🎹 Private piano
One-on-one daily lessons tailored to your child's level. A personal video recording of their progress is sent home after camp.
🎨 Japanese artisan crafts
A different traditional craft each afternoon, from washi paper making to leather work. Children take home everything they create.
🎤 Showcase performance
The week builds toward a live ukulele ensemble performance and artisan exhibition for families on Friday.
🌳 Park time
Daily outdoor play and games at the park, because summer camp should feel like summer!

Group Ukulele Sessions
Picking up the ukulele is effortless and easy with Minim. Children can look forward to our signature group ukulele sessions, where the joy of making music together takes centre stage.
Minim is highly experienced in teaching group ukulele classes across all skill levels. Children will be grouped according to beginning, intermediate, and advanced ukulele levels. Whether your child is strumming for the first time or already playing songs, they'll be learning alongside peers at their own pace.

Daily Private Piano Classes
Whether your child is already learning piano or completely new to the instrument, this camp is the perfect opportunity to immerse them in a nurturing environment alongside our experienced instructors.
If your child is already working on a song, they are welcome to bring it for practice and refinement. If they are completely new to the instrument, we look forward to opening the doors to the wonderful world of piano playing.
Every child receives a personal video recording of their piano progress, sent to families as a keepsake after camp.
