Terms and Conditions for Participants
By enrolling and paying for a Minim group class, participants and their parents or guardians agree to the following terms.
1. Payment
Term fees are paid in full before the term begins, by credit card or bank transfer through our contactless payment options. Places are confirmed only once payment has been received. Families joining mid term will be invoiced on a pro rated basis.
2. Substitute Teachers
In the event the lead teacher is absent, a substitute teacher may take the class. All substitute teachers hold dance qualifications approved by Minim and are briefed on the class curriculum.
3. Absences and Make Up Classes
Where only one class day per week is offered, make up classes are not available. Missed sessions cannot be refunded or credited.
4. Refunds
Refunds are offered only in the case of an unforeseen school closure or event that causes Minim to cancel a class, and where no make up can be arranged. Any refunds will be processed by bank transfer at the end of the school year, between June and August.
Refunds are not offered for participant absence, change of mind, or scheduling conflicts on the family's side.
5. Teacher or Class Cancellation by Minim
In the rare event that Minim cancels a class entirely, affected families will be offered either a make up class or a credit toward a future term.
6. Pick Up and Drop Off
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is dropped off and picked up on time, as stated in the lesson schedule. If the child is already attending the school, they will be dropped off at the classes on time by their class teachers. Minim is not responsible for supervision of children outside of class hours. Repeated late pick ups may incur a supervision fee.
7. Safety and Liability
Minim instructors take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety of every participant during class. Parents and guardians agree that Minim and its instructors are not liable for any damage, injury, or illness sustained during classes, except where caused by gross negligence on the part of Minim.
Parents and guardians are responsible for informing Minim of any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs relevant to their child's participation.
8. Personal Belongings and Materials
Minim is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings and materials, brought to class.
9. Behavior
Minim classes are community spaces built on kindness and respect. Minim reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior repeatedly disrupts the class or affects the safety and wellbeing of others.
10. Image Rights
Minim may use photos, videos, and other media of participants taken during classes and events in publicity materials such as our website, social media, and print materials. No participant will be named in such materials. If you prefer your child not to be featured, please notify us in writing at contact@minim.family at the time of enrollment or at any point during the term.
11. Changes to These Terms
Minim may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website at minim.family.
