The Math Race stations are here!
Dear Minim Family,
I hope you are well.
One of the highlights of Minim Day is back, and this year, we have been working hard behind the scenes to make the Minim Math Race a meaningful and fun experience for everyone!
For those new to the Minim Family, the Math Race is a favourite Minim Day tradition where children sprint between stations, solve math challenges, earn tokens, and exchange them for prizes at the end. It is fast, it is fun, and it brings math to life in the best way.
We know some parents wonder if their child will enjoy the math portion, or worry about whether they can confidently tackle the problems. This is exactly why we do this activity! The Math Race is a joyful celebration of learning, designed to inspire children to love math and connect it with the world around them at the park.

Now, without further ado, here are the 5 stations your children will be racing through at Arisugawa Park:
Jiggy Jigs -
Can you piece together the right numbers and operations to crack the challenge?
Shapey Shapes -
Shapes and angles are hiding all around the park. Can you spot them?
Tallie Tall -
How tall is that statue? How about that tree? Time to measure up!
Speedy Speedy -
Sprint, draw a card, solve it, shout the answer. The classic Math Run returns!
️ Weighty Weight -
Gather items from the park and see how close you can get to the target weight!
Each station offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced questions, so every child can pick the level that feels right for them. And yes, parents are highly encouraged to join in too, especially with the younger ones!
Note: station names may be adjusted slightly as we finalise the details.
