A ukulele-centric program designed to help children build musical skills while developing confidence in performing and expressing themselves on stage.
What Your Child Will Learn
Ukulele
Split into beginner and advanced groups:
- Chords and lyrics
- Strumming patterns
- Brainstorm music together
- Ensemble playing
Public Speaking
Split into beginner and advanced groups:
- Speaking warm-ups and voice projection
- Idea building and simple speech structure
- Drama games
- Posture and performance communication skills
Teachers
Ukulele — Minim Ukulele Team
The ukulele segment will be taught by the capable teachers of the Minim Ukulele Team. Minim Ukulele runs 18 programs a week across 14 international schools, and are very experienced in helping children learn and love the instrument. We look forward to seeing you at camp!
Public Speaking — Ms An Lin
An Lin is part Minim's Math Academy team, and is also Minim's Educational Partnerships Coordinator.
When she was 21 years old, An Lin was elected as the president of Singapore's oldest theatre company, the Stage Club. She is deeply passionate in speech, linguistics and critical thinking, and grew up joining debate clubs. She was also a high school debate coach in Singapore, and hosted public speaking workshops. She is looking forward to bring high quality speaker club sessions to children in Tokyo, to inspire confidence and critical thinking in the children that join this program.

Dates: March 23–26 (Monday–Thursday)
Time: 14:40–16:00 (entry from 14:30)
- 14:30–14:40 Student welcoming
- 14:40–15:10 Ukulele workshop
- 15:10–15:40 Public speaking workshop
- 15:40–16:00 Combined learning
Final performance: Thursday March 26, 15:40–16:00

Our Policies
Refunds
Refunds will only be granted in the event of unforeseen school events or closure.
All refunds will be processed via bank transfer at end of school year (June-August).
Ticket Validity
All tickets are valid only within the term they were purchased. Kindly ensure to use them by the end of term.
Substitute Teachers
In the event that our main instructors are absent, Minim may assign a substitute teacher with suitable qualifications.
Safety
At Minim, every care is taken for the safety of our participants.
Parents and Guardians are not to hold Minim liable for damages, injury or illness in participation of our classes.
Image Rights
Minim reserves right to use photos and videos in publicity materials unless notified otherwise.
No sensitive information including names or ages of students will be disclosed.
